The City of Huber Heights is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Tax Technician. Responsibilities include collecting payments on overdue tax balances; reviewing and assisting taxpayers with preparation of tax returns and payments. The selection process will begin with the screening of applicants; those considered to continue in process will undergo oral interviews. Successful candidate will submit to an extensive background investigation.
This position requires a High School Diploma or GED, and three years of accounting and computer experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience within a municipal tax office preferred. Salary Range is $37,800 to $47,350 DOQ.
