The Huber Heights Senior Center (HHSC) offers a wide variety of services and programs to area seniors. A Board of Officers and Trustees who are elected annually by its members directs the operations of the HHSC. The Senior Center is staffed by volunteer members who work the front desk and is open Monday through Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (excluding holidays). Current regularly scheduled programs offered at the Senior Center include Tai Chi, bridge and cards, bingo, line dancing, Mah Jong, ceramics, one day and extended trips, computer classes, woodcarving, book group, and exercise classes sponsored by Sinclair College for Seniors.

Other services or programs offered include Tax Aid, Legal Aid, Veterans Services, Retired Senior Volunteers Program, Golden Buckeye Cards, blood pressure screenings, blood sugar screenings, support groups, and miscellaneous speakers or presentations on senior citizen related issues. Also available at the Center is the Congregate Meal Program. The HHSC site serves lunch on Wednesdays and Fridays from 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Reservations need to be made by calling by 12:30 p.m. the day before the scheduled meal. Cost for the meal is a suggested $2 donation. This program is provided through the Senior Resource Connection with funding through grants from the Area Agency on Aging.
