The company that administers the City of Huber Height's electric aggregation program is changing. Energy Harbor has been purchased by Dynegy. Based in Houston, Texas, Dynegy provides electric aggregation services in Ohio, Illinois, and Pennsylvania.
Dynegy officials say there will not be any changes to current services or rates. Residential customers and small businesses participating in the electric aggregation program will receive notices regarding Dynegy's recent acquisition of Energy Harbor. No action is needed on your part when these notices arrive. There will also be a follow-up letter from your utility notifying you that your contract with Energy Harbor is ending and you are automatically switched to Dynegy. Again, no action is needed when these notices arrive if you wish to continue participating in the program.
To be clear, even though there is a new energy supplier, your electricity service will remain uninterrupted, and your aggregation rate will remain the same.
If you have any questions, please call Dynegy at 1-888-682-2170 Monday through Friday, 8 AM—11 PM EST. You can also visit the Dynegy website.
