[ARCHIVED] Construction on I-70 through Huber Heights

Road Closed Barrier, wooded road, red UPDATE flag

Update on Lane/Ramp Closures 05/21/2025

ODOT's contractors will be working to prepare for the upcoming traffic shift that will move traffic back to its normal configuration.  There will be closures for short periods of time over the course of two nights, Wednesday, May 21 and Thursday, May 22, starting at SR 235 then moving west towards SR 201 and finally SR 202.  These closures are consecutive so each ramp will reopen as the next one closes.  Work is expected to start at approximately 7:00 PM and end at approximately 6:00 AM. This work is weather dependent.

ODOT (Ohio Department of Transportation) is currently working on eastbound and westbound I-70 through Huber Heights and into Clark County. The construction work is located between I-75 and I-675.  The work being performed includes the full-depth removal and replacement of sections of concrete pavement that have broken apart at the pavement joints. The majority of the repair work is being done in the right and middle lanes of the 3-lane roadway (both eastbound and westbound). The work began at the beginning of April and is scheduled to be completed by September 30, 2025.  One or two lanes of roadway closure could occur at any time.

This is an ODOT project that is being managed and inspected by ODOT. The City of Huber Heights does not have any involvement in this project.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please contact ODOT, District 7, at (937) 492-1141.
