Remote Public Meeting Participation
During these times of modified operations, the City of Huber Heights works to continue providing elements of public input and participation to the public meeting process. It is important to all city officials that we continue to hear from our residents as frequently as possible, especially regarding governance and businees of the City.
City Council Passed a Resolution and has implemented a Remote Meeting Process which will have all participants remotely connected to conduct the meeting. The meeting will remain viewable by the public through the Live Streaming feature (above). There will be no in-person public attendance available.
In order to provide public input, the City is providing the following methods for public comments during remote public meetings.
Regular Council Meetings
The standard process for public comment at Regular Council Meetings requires citizens to register their comments for the Public Comment section of the agenda or during a specific agenda item. The methods to register your comments for the record will include email and phoning comments to the Clerk’s Office up to one hour prior to the start of the meeting.
Work Sessions / Board and Commission Meetings / Public Hearings
During these meetings, Public Participation is encouraged to allow the meeting officers to gather information to prepare the agendas for regular business and deliberate decisions for the governance and business of the city. Public comments accepted prior to the meeting will be included into the meeting record.
