[ARCHIVED] Trash Collection Hours Changed to Begin at 6am - Bulk Pickup Suspended

Changes to Republic Services Trash Collection Procedures

The City of Huber Heights is committed to the continuation of all regular public services to our community.  Our partner companies are also committed to continue providing their services during the COVID-19 public health crisis.

Effective Monday, March 23, 2020, the Montgomery County Transfer Station announced they will be closing early at 3:00PM until further notice.  In order to continue to provide uninterrupted waste collection to Huber Heights customers, trash collection will begin at 6:00 AM, instead of 7:00 AM.  This will allow Republic Services to get routes completed and dispose of the trash at the transfer station before they close for the day.

Additionally, bulk pick-up is suspended until further notice; only service cart contents will be collected.  This is necessary to ensure the ability to safely service the community and to prepare for the extra waste that will be generated from homes since most people will be at home more often.  Make sure that ALL service cart contents are bagged.  Recycle carts will continue collection as usual.

Thank you for your patience as we all continue to navigate through these on-going changes.
