Bellefontaine Road is now closed between Taylorsville Road and the I-70 bridge due to erosion issues along the edge of the road caused by the undermining of a large storm culvert crossing under the roadway. The road will be closed until further notice when the culvert can be repaired.
Southbound traffic will be detoured to Shull Road and northbound traffic will be detoured to Brandt Pike. Use the links below to view the media release and a map showing the closure location and detour route.
