The City of Huber Heights is recruiting candidates for the position of full-time Police Officer. This selection process will utilize a lateral entry hiring process to establish an eligibility list for hire. The selection process will begin with qualifications screening of applicants for requisites and credentials. Applicants to be considered to continue in the process will undergo an oral interview(s); date is TBD. Minimum requirements: Applicants must be a commissioned Ohio Peace Officer with one year full-time or paid part-time experience as a Police Officer. Candidates must also be at least 21 years of age; High School Diploma or GED; and must possess a valid Ohio Driver’s License. Prior to appointment, candidate must submit and successfully pass an extensive background investigation, truth verification test, pre-employment drug screen, physical and psychological examination. Current salary range for this position is $55,910.40 to $79,372.80 DOQ with excellent benefits.
