Soil Study Investigation for the City’s Water Main Program

Soil Study Investigation for the City’s Water Main Program

The City of Huber Heights contracted with Bowser Morner to conduct a soils study on five different streets (Tomberg Street, Ansbury Drive, Hubbard Drive, Barnard Drive and Hemmingway Road) to determine the subgrade soil conditions.  One boring was made on each street.  The purpose of this study was to determine the physical characteristics of the soil strata and groundwater depths.  The report details the conditions found at these borings and the results of the study were then compared with the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) Soil Classifications provided in the Soil Survey of Montgomery County, Ohio.  Attached below, is a Summary of the report along with the full complete report showing the results of the investigation.
