[ARCHIVED] Sign Up for Safety Town today

safety town

Safety Town is a week-long interactive and educational experience for children entering kindergarten in the Huber Heights City School District.   Huber Heights police officers and guest speakers will provide age-appropriate instruction on various topics including traffic safety, pedestrian and bike safety, fire safety, stranger awareness, school and bus safety, 911 usage, and gun safety. Children will also be able to enjoy our miniature town by “driving” around the streets and walking along the sidewalks with crosswalks, stop signs, and traffic signals.

Classes are held at Valley Forge Elementary School, 7191 Troy Manor Rd.  Children should arrive at least 15 minutes early as class will begin promptly at the designated start time.

Visit https://www.hhoh.org/555/Safety-Town for the application. Please Return to the Police Department or email back.  You will receive an email confirmation/reminder the week before your child’s class. For questions, contact Officer Michael Reckner at (937) 939-1650 or email mreckner@hhoh.org.
