You may have noticed that Old Troy Pike (S.R. 202) looks a bit different today (9/3/24).
Tonight (9/3/24) most of the existing roadway striping on Old Troy Pike (S.R. 202) from Taylorsville Road to the I-70 ramps will be removed and new TEMPORARY striping will be placed at the location of the final lane width configuration.
Later this month, the paving contractor will mill and repave the entire roadway width from Taylorsville Road to the I-70 highway ramps DURING THE NIGHT.
After the new paving is completed, the striping contractor will come back again and restripe the road with the final striping and the project will be completed.
