[ARCHIVED] Republic Services Information

Republic Services is the authorized collection agent for trash, recycling, bulk item pickup and billing services for the City of Huber Heights. Recently, some residents received a letter from Republic Services stating there was not an active account for the residence and one will be activated and a bill sent. The letter states that the bill will be for services provided in 2018, however, we have come to an agreement that the bill will begin with the third quarter, July 1, 2018. Per Contract and City Ordinance 2013-O-2016, all single and two-family residential dwellings shall use Republic Services for its waste material collection and are required to pay the cost for the collection and disposal of waste material and recyclables. No person other than the authorized collection agent shall remove waste or recyclable material. Links to both documents are below. Questions should be directed to Republic Services, (800) 543-1339.

Trash Cart Price Increase - The annual price increase for trash services was applied to the most recent bill.  The basic service is now $10.76 per month, reflecting a 21 cent increase.  Some customers might have noticed an increase on the trash cart.  This is a mistake and will be corrected by Republic Services.  Questions should be directed to Republic Services at (800) 543-1339.
