[ARCHIVED] TREE LIMB REMOVAL

Just a reminder that tree limbs, twigs, and debris placed at the curb after the recent ice storm, will not be removed by the City. Residents are responsible to see that any debris is removed from their property. As of January 2, 2019, Code Enforcement will begin issuing Property Maintenance violation notices for tree debris and broken limbs that remain on properties in the City.

The City Yard Waste Site is open daily Monday through Friday 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. for leaf and limb disposal. It will remain open until January 11, 2019 (closed New Years Eve & New Years Day) for any disposal of leaves, limbs, Christmas trees or other acceptable yard debris. After January 11, 2019, the site is closed until April 4, 2019.

You may also have the debris removed free of charge by Republic Services along with your weekly trash. Limbs and twigs must be tied into bundles no more than 10 inches in diameter and no longer than 4 feet. Limbs may also be put in your trash receptacle if they stick out no more than 2 feet.  Please contact the Code Enforcement office at 233-1423, Monday-Friday, if you have questions.
