Road Patrol
The Huber Heights Police Division currently has an authorized staffing of 57 police officers, 40 of which are assigned to the Patrol Division. The patrol officers are responsible for the protection of life and property, prevention of crime, apprehension of criminals, and general enforcement of laws and ordinances. The Division of Police is responsible for patrolling and protecting a growing city of more than 43,000 people with over 13,000 homes and over 1,000 businesses covering over 22 square miles of land and 350 miles of roads 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Lieutenant Brian Carr is the Patrol Section commander. He is also the Commander for HHPD's Regional Emergency Response Team, Honor Guard, Bike Patrol, Crowd Management, K9 Operations and many other facets of the patrol operations side of HHPD.
