Monita Bike and Skate Park

Work is complete on the newly paved pump track. Our crews may do further grass restoration throughout the fall. Please be mindful of any fresh seed out there but otherwise enjoy the ride!

Community Park

Community Park will receive multiple upgrades this year. The basketball courts are set for a full revitalization, giving players a refreshed and quality play surface. Additionally, the disc golf course will benefit from improved signage, making it easier to navigate for both new and seasoned players. The park’s playground will also see grant-backed improvements, providing a safer and more inclusive space for kids and families to enjoy. We plan to post some options for this playground on our facebook page so that followers may vote on their favorite design.

CURRENT UPDATE (7/15/25) The Sport Courts have been completed at Community Park.

Shullgate Park

Shullgate Park's baseball fields have been filled and graded to provide a better quality playing surface. Future fence and dugout work will take place in the fall of 2025.

Rip Rap Park

Visitors to Rip Rap Park will notice improvements to the parking area, as the lot will be seal coated to extend its lifespan and improve aesthetics. This update helps maintain one this important access point for the Great Miami River Recreational Trail.

Cloud Park

The tennis courts at Cloud Park are getting a much-needed refresh with the assistance of grant funding from the US Tennis Association. These updates will improve playability and increase the overall appeal of this recreational space for residents and visitors alike. The current 5-year Capital Improvement Plan includes renovations to each section of courts over the next few years.

In addition, Cloud Park is undergoing a Master Planning process with aid from the community. As plans and renderings are developed for that renovation, they will be posted here.

Two public engagement sessions have been conducted thus far and more opportunity to give feedback will be available as the project progresses.

Huber Heights Senior Center

The Senior Center will also benefit from grant-backed upgrades including safety handrails and an accessible patio space to get our members outdoors. These improvements will aid in ensuring that this well-loved facility remains welcoming and accessible to our older adult community.

Cottonwood Park

Cottonwood Park is getting significant improvements in 2025: a brand-new playground with a small, paved path. Eventual expansion of paved walking paths at Cottonwood and other parks are planned for future years as well. These enhancements will breathe new life into the space, making it a more inviting destination for families and park-goers of all ages.

Current Update (6/26/25):  Demolition of the old playground is slated to begin on June 30th. Installation will follow shortly after and will take between 6-10 weeks pending weather and ground conditions under the new site.

Current Update (7/15/25): Crews began pouring new sidewalks and installing equipment this week.
