The Division currently has three SRO’s assigned to the Huber Heights City School District. The program does not solely focus on policing but also focuses on educating and building partnerships with the youth of our community. This nationally recognized program is staffed by Officer Chris Elliott, Officer Gabby Cahill and Officer Michael Reckner.
- Officer Elliott is assigned to Wayne High School.
- Officer Cahill is assigned to Weisenborn Junior High.
- Officer Reckner is assigned to the elementary schools.
These officers are available during school hours and for a time shortly at the end of the school day. They also attend most of the major sporting events at the High School and hosted in the city of Huber Heights.
